Technology over the past couple of decades has become ever increasingly invaluable and integral to the day to day functioning of society from work and education to health, entertainment and communication.

However disabled people are continually being left behind, with websites, software and entertainment i.e. video games and Tv/Film, often being inaccessible to disabled people.

There is a significant lack of protections for digital accessibility and inclusion in current legislative protections and disability frameworks e.g. UNCRPD. Both due to the unwillingness of the political will and that many pieces of legislation and frameworks being drafted before the prevalence of the digital world.

Policy Brief.


Digital accessibility will be a campaign focus for Just Include, with our DigitAll campaign being launched today (31/03/25) at our Stormont Launch event with our policy brief.
