Just Include’s Stormont Launch event on Monday 31st March 2025, saw the release of their brand, Northern Ireland Programme which consists of a handbook and a series of workshops breaking down the Northern Ireland Assembly/Executive as well as their DigitAll; Digital Accessibility campaign and accompanying policy brief.

launch event will not only provide an insight and overview of Just Include, but will be focused on Just Include’s launch of its Northern Ireland Project. Which consists of a comprehensive handbook breaking down the Northern Ireland Executive and Assembly, and a series of accompanying workshops to empower disabled people to advocate and be heard on the issues they are passionate about. As well as our DigitAll; digital accessibility campaign including policy brief document.

Just Include founder Andrew Hamilton, spoke to BBC Nolan Show on Radio Ulster on the 18th about his concerns and disbeliefs at the proposed welfare cuts to PIP by the UK Labour Government and appeared again on the 19th March 2025, to give his reaction and comments following the announcement in the House of Commons on how PIP and welfare would be reformed and the effects on disabled people.

Andrew Hamilton was invited to give a keynote at the Westminster Project’s Westminster Higher Education Policy Forum Conference on 26/02/25, titled ‘Current experiences of disabled students in higher education and priorities for improved support’. In attendance was the head of Disabled Students Allowance (DSA), officials from the Department of Education as well as from the devolved governments, university leaders, the 3rd sector and interest groups. The online conference was chaired by Baroness Meral Hussein-Ece.
